Updating Linked Data Connections

For the linked data displays (the map, the persons/places graph, etc) you will need to periodically update your linked data. So when you have added a lot of new data you can rerun the build-lod.xql xquery code. You do this by clicking the links below, which will update places and people.

  1. First, log in to the eXide console: https://anthologydev.lib.virginia.edu/apps/eXide/index.html
  2. To update places, click this link (or copy/paste into browser) to run the code: https:// anthologydev.lib.virginia.edu/modules/build-lod.xql?action=create&content=json
  3. To update people, click this link (or copy/paste into browser) to run the code: https:// anthologydev.lib.virginia.edu/modules/build-lod.xql?action=create&content=person
  4. You will need the admin credentials to run these scripts (logon at anthology.lib.virginia.edu)
  5. When you run the scripts, you’ll get an error, as follows, but the job has been done–not to worry!
